Credits and upstream sources

Build on visible lineage and give upstream work its due. Clear attribution makes the operating practice easier to inspect, maintain, and carry forward. This public surface brings together the delivery and fleet work with the projects and tools that make it possible.

Shipped and adapted

• Oracle — the Oracle skill adapts the lifecycle pattern from Peter Steinberger’s oracle, MIT.
• Thermos review family — Thermos supplies the review lenses tracked from Cursor plugins, MIT.

Workflow and harness tools

• Compound Engineering (3.20.0+) supplies selected delivery workflow stages and owns review settlement and CI. Resolve it when a selected stage needs it.
• Claude Code and Codex supply the harness and plugin surfaces.
• gh-stack supports dependent-PR delivery.

Other attribution

• Ponytail is credited for efficiency guidance; it is not a Railyard prerequisite.

Fleet foundations

• Jujutsu supplies the colocated store, conflict state, operation log, and change identity.
• OpenSSH supplies signing, certificates, key verification, and transport primitives.
• Homebrew, APT, and winget supply native package management.
• Tailscale supplies the optional transport integration.
• ShellCheck supports shell quality checks in source repositories.

Licensing

Carry licensing through the same evidence discipline. License obligations and third-party notices remain with the source repositories. This page gives reader-facing attribution and links to the upstream projects.
